Toru Yoshida is full professor of comparative politics at Doshisha University in Japan, Specialist on political science, french politics and comparative politics. After served at The Japan External Trade Organization, he owned his master and Ph.D degree at the Tokyo University (Social Science). He has been Associate Professor of European politics in Hokkaido University from 2006 to 2021, Professor of Japanese Chair in Sciences Po Paris from 2010 to 2011 and visiting researcher at CEVIPOF Sciences Po and to the Center of French Studies of New York University from 2011 to 2012. He is currently Associate Researcher at Fondation France-Japon (FFJ) EHESS in France.
